Default connecting rod bolt problems

hey I'm trying to install my pistons tonight and I'm having a hell of a time with the connecting rods. I got the connecting rods back from the machine shop with my arp rod bolts torqued on them. I've taken off the nuts on the bolts but I just can't seem to get the connecting rod big end apart. Any suggestions?

penetrating lube; it will come apart...alot of wiggling, maybe some shots with a rubber mallet should do it. If not, Don't do anything crazy, wait till tomorrow and take em back to the machine shop.

Thread the nuts down a bit and then hit the nuts in alternating fashion with a dead blow hammer.

Worst case scenario is that you have to use a vice to hold the rod cap and then hit the nuts.
