i have a 88 crx si. i was thinking about buying tokico shocks from a guy on HT. when i checked to make sure the numbers are different. the website had HU2798 AND HU2799 for my car. The guy has HU2797A AND HU2847. will these fit my car just at a different rate or what??????????????????????? please help.

 

find out what his numbers go to, and see if itll work that way.

 

its says it is for 89-91. not a 88. will they fit though??????? dont 88's have struts?????

 

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the 88 CRX was one of the rare cars that came stateside with the JDM rear lower control arms. I'm pretty sure that if you have 88 CRX rear LCAs, you can run JDM suspension in the rear. The lower mounting point is different compared to the other years and models of the EF generation.

Contact Tokico They should be able to tell you. But yes the 88s are a different LCAs. They have the Eye at the base of the shock not the fork that is on the 89-91
