Default Condenser Fan Fuse Problem

Recently, I installed a slim a/c condenser fan. Since then, the condenser fan fuse in the under-hood fuse box randomly blows. It doesn't blow immediately, it takes a couple days.
I have checked all of the wiring and it is good.

It's a 1550 CFM, 80 watt, 10" slim fan.

Do the slim fans draw too much power for the 20A fuse that is in the fuse box?

The car is a 93 del Sol Si.

Basically what I am trying to figure out is:
Can I use a higher rated fuse?
If so, what's the highest I can go and still be safe?

try a 25amp fuse....

or if you dont feel comfortable running that in the stock fuse box then wire up an extrenal relay to power the fans direct from the battery. make sure you use a high qualitly relay and good wire connections.

Alright, i'll try the 25amp. I don't have any of that rating currently, but i'm now out of 20amp fuses so I better go pick some fuses up at the store anyway.

Never replace a fuse with a bigger one, find out what the current draw of the fan is, [from manufacturer], I would bet it is less then 20A.
If the fan needs more then 20A of current, install a relay, as mentioned] and use the condenser fan lead to control the relay and draw power for the relay from the batt., fused as required. 94

you can also measure the amps of the fan and compare them to the manufacturer to make sure it isnt a defective fan. other than that, what he said^
