Default computer resistor

i had a d15 auto in it and i switched it to a d16 1.6L with a 5speed in it and i was told i need to put a resister in the computer and i need to no why and what it's going to do and i also need some info on were to solder in the resister on a auto computer since i changed it from a auto to a 5speed and what size of resistor, and were in the circuit it goes and if your removing one or adding a resistor...and i need to no if there is anything els i need to no about my computer to make v-tech work....thanks dusty

why dont you just get a new ECU?

obd2 now? what year is the engine, what year was the old one?

and also, do NOT say v-tech, it pisses alot of people off...however I prefer you say v-tech over vtak because myself am in the telecommunications industry, V-TECH FTW!
