i wanted to know if a comptech icebox will fit in a crx? i have checked threads and can't find any pretaining to this subject. so i want to know if its possible because i'd like to sell my aem cai for a comptech icebox on my dohc zc.

im not sure for the zc but i think it will. i have a b16a in a crx 91 and the aem works fine. I am thinking of adding a icebox to mine for the stock look.

acutually it should be no prob. i had a zc in there before and the aem cai fit no prob. i had to relocate my battery to the rear of the car but it fit after that.

 

no i don't mean that i want to aem to fit with the comptech i mean that i want to install a civic si 99-00 comptech box into my crx(dohc zc). will if fit at the TB and mount right if i remove the battery?

 

Ya that is what I am saying. I have a 2000 SI AEM CAI in my 91 CRX with a B16A motor now. I had to relocate the battery to rear for this. Previously however, I had an AEM CAI (2000 SI) with a ZC motor and it fit fine. So I see no reason why you can't use a Comptech. Let me know. I want a comptech myself. Oh and I didn't have to relocate the battery with my ZC.
