Compression ratio of d15b2 with d16z6 head?
Put a connecting rod through my z6 block fri night so I was forced to build a mini-me from an extra d15b2 that I through my z6 head on and I would like to know how wild the compression is since this motor is boosted. The pistons are the flat topped pm3 instead of the dished z6 pistons and of course the z6 head has noticably less volume in the combustion chamber than the b2 head. It should not be as wild as the d16a6 mini-me with domed pistons but does anyone know exactly what this combo yields?
Cool, thats perfect
!
Now anyone know if the cam timing is off with this head/block combo, i have an old skunk2 adjustable cam gear and it only has the timing marks you line up with the top of the head so its hard to tell how close it is. The engine is running but I had to retard the ditributor all the way to set the ignition timing so I imagine the cam is off.
