Here's what i got
cyl#1 240 psi......5%leak
cyl#2 240psi ......7%leak
cly#3 240 psi......5%leak
cyl#4 240 psi......5&leak
I am using a bit of oil...about 2/3rds of a quart per oil change
couldn't tell were the leakage was coming from on any clylinders.....I'm going to try a PCV catch can tonight and see if that solves a bit of the problem......I'm thinking at high rpms there is greater pressure than there used to be and the oil vapor is getting blown through the intake manifold....I replaces the IM gasket about 2 months ago and noticed..fresh oil in the runners ..........any other suggestion?
The motor is a B17a full rebuild with SRP pistons 10.5:1 CR 81.5mm...ctr cams rev limit 8500
26000kms(17000miles) on motor
thanks
Chris
