Default Compression during break-in

I know that during breakin when you check for compression you're just measuring consistency and not really how high the numbers are. I have a newly rebuilt motor, have not turned it over yet but decided to do a test before wiring it up. Starting from cyl #1 I got, 155-128-150-100, is this normal until the engine has its first combustion? Or could my valve lash be bad on a few cylinders

IMO the rings are not seated yet.

Start the engine and break it in.

After about how many miles should the readings become consistent across the board?

Most people don't worry about it if it runs good.

Don't over think this.

Thanks for the input guys Don, valve lash can't be terribly off considering how **** I was about it measuring, but if I hear the slightest bit of ticking I'll shut that thing down immediately. But maybe you're right to give it another once-over before starting. Hopefully I'll get time this weekend to crank it up, I'll keep posted incase anyone else has the same questions
