Compensator arm, need an answer
Heya
Aight I am totally against ghetto-ish mecanic. But I am stuck with closed parts store (and closed Honda dealer) and would like to know how much stress is on the compensator arm when the car is rolling ?
The stock compensator arm has its bushing dead. The one from the conversion I am installing come from a CRX and is 1 inch longer.
Could I just cut 1 inch out of the CRX compensator arm and weld it back in one piece ? At least I could roll the car out of the garage and this is what I need.
Thanks for helping me out

If you have the factory style bushing in the trailing arm, it would be safe to roll the car around with the compensator removed.
The trailing arm bushing will prevent a certain amount of side way movement.
Don't drive the car.
