compatible distributors?

i have a 94 b18b engine with no distributor and wondering what other engines are compatible with this? its going in a 00 ls

not sure, maybe a b-vtec, cuz i know when people do lsvtecs, sometimes they dont' buy the right disty, and just cut one of the pegs off the ls one that they have
