Compatibilities between Z6 block and B7 block...
OK, this may be hard to explain but here goes...
I'm building a low comp. Z6 in my garage this summer thats going to be seeing 12+ psi when it gets going. I'm already almost done building the head, and it's coming time to buy the block and get started on it (I didn't buy a complete Z6, I'm "frankensteining" one). Now, please check out this link and look at this block... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...=WDVW I plan on getting forged pistons and rods for this block (if I decide to buy it). Now, I know that no internals from the D15B7 (that is currently in my Sol) will work in the Z6 block... that's not what I'm asking. What I need to know is can the other stuff on the block thats missing (sensors, brackets, mount, oil pick-up tube, etc., etc.) be transfered to the Z6 from my D15? I'm not sure as to the compatibility of these types of items between the two. I guess to simplify the question- If I buy the block in the auction, add forged pistons, rods, and rod bearings, will I be able to get everything else I need for the block from my D15B7 to get it in the car and working perfectly.
Alternatively, if anybody reads this that has a complete Z6 block that they'd like to sell to me, that would be great too!
Also, I already searched on this a bit and didn't find anything... kind of a hard topic to search on though.
Help is greatly appreciated.

"**** Bush. **** the war. God save those forced to give their lives for our “leader’s” pride."
No one is being forced to give there lives for this war, they are given there lifes for your freedom, so you can say **** like this with out being shoot in the back of the head by some dictator.
this is a war about freedom and the pride of America not the pride of bush

I'm not looking for turbine action fool... you know I'm a NA guy. I was posting this trying to help out a friend from school who isn't a member... yet.

Wrong. This war is not about freedoms... you tell me how those we are at war with have attempted to inhibit or infringe upon my freedom as an American and I will give you credit, but money says you cant. We are doing nothing more than attempting to police the globe in a pathetic display of our desire to feel supremacy.
America and Bush are on such a ******* ego trip... what makes us so high and mighty that we can just waltz into any country we like and clean up? This country's fucked up enough that we need to worry a little bit more about fixing our own **** before we go try and manage others. Oh, and I highly doubt all of my friends going across the world getting shot in the *** by Iraqis and dodging car bombs is the reason I am able to put whatever I want in my sig without fear of a wrathful dictator. War is innevitable and completely necessary sometimes, but in this case it is totally wrong.
God save those forced to give their lives for our “leader’s” pride. - Ok... I will admit, maybe what I said here was wrong. Rather, it should say "God save those duped into giving their lives for our "leader's" pride ...Yeah, that's definately more fitting.
On the contrary, maybe this war wasn't such a bad idea... Just think of all those "common as sand (Bush)" weapons of mass destuction we've found! (That'd be a whopping zero for those not quite feeling my sarcasm here.)
Anyways, no need for a political debate... back to the topic at hand. Z6 block for me anyone?
