Default Comments on K&N Filters

So has anyone used these? the K&N tornado Air Intake setups? Good comments, Bad comments? any comments? just checking info on what i have reasonible access to.

duh i cant believe lame typo, the intake is a Typhoon Air Intake. It doesnt have anything like creating air vortex's or anything.....

Stay away from the thing that has the stupid propeller inside it, that doesn't do a damn thing..


As far as regular K&N filters......99% of anyone running a decent quality intake is using a K&N. I have one on my DAC DC sports intake.

K&N
I've had the same filter for 5yrs and its still mint, really easy to clean, wash, and oil. I don't think I'd use any other brand.

I have had K&N filters for the longest time going back nearly 10 years and never had a problem with one of them, Plus I did notice a 4MPG increase in my 94 explorer...

tornado device= NO GOOD !

oh my!

i've been a faithful user of k&n filters, too, and have always been satisfied with the ease in reoiling/washing/reusing. big plus.
