is it that cold to where it wont turn on?!?!?!
i have a 97 civic ex with a jdm b16a swap in it. every morning when i go out to turn on the car, it will crank and turn on and turn off...over and over until ive done it enough so the motor will then stay on without bogging back down. when the car warms up, it runs perfectly fine, but why does this happen? other cars cant turn on right away even in 20 degress weather. so let me know if yall get an idea!!
You have a FITV on that? I'd check that first. It's harder to test it for too little air than it is to test it for too much air. If you disconnect a small vacuum line, such as the one to the charcoal canister, that should simulate opening the FITV further. Post if that helps it start better.

BTW: Nice Sun Conure
Thanks
We love Squeak very much and he loves our Hondas.
Nikky- I forgot to mention that disconnecting a vacuum line is just for diagnostic purposes. Reconnect it as soon as you've noted the effect.

i still dont know how to fix this lol. i tried ANOTHER battery (not a new one), new plugs, new obd2 dizzy. ill crank it and it will star then die itll do it a couple more times, then when its started trying to warm up it goes..pop...pop...pop...small backfires and if i try to give it gas when its warming up it backfires some more and bogs and slowly climbs up to hit a higher rpm. what could it be?!?!
