Default cold start trouble?

my ef has a sir swap and its tough to start after its been sitting. especially when its cold. once it does it runs then dies a couple time then after about the third try itll struggle and stay alive. it runs fine otherwise. ( it does have an injector code) ive changed injecctors and ecu and it didnt clear and ran the same. my question is could it be something to do with battery ground? considering its ran to a bolt under my back bench seats.(like it being cold could loosen a conection other then it being hot and running fine?) or could it be my relay engaging wrong untill its warmed up through electrrical flow? i dunno im just lookin for someone elses iimput. so hit me back. thanks guys.

The PGM-FI Main Relay supplies the injectors with power, [12V+] if there is a problem with the relay it could cause the problem you describe, if you have a multimeter you can check the voltage at the injectors, [during cranking to start]. 94
