when i start my crx w/b16, it revs to about 2.5k drops down to 1.8k and back to 2k and stays there until the cars warm. then it drops down to 1k or a little less. is this normal for a b16 in a crx? i have all the vacume lines hooked up right as far as i know. also the car is really jumpy if i try to move in first gear if it's not warmed up completly.

 

there's a lot of reason for this problem..maybe your ECU problem or maybe your throttle body gaskets is leaking.......another reasons is your warming sensor below of your throttle body is unfunctioning anymore. should change to new one. This sensor is to detect the hot water passing through under your throttle body. I don't know what the exacts name for this parts. u can check it by open your hoods. It gots 1 wter hose out from engine heads going through it. Hope this can help you to solve ur problem.....
