Default codes 12 and 21

I have an h22a engine and I am getting codes 12 and 21. I know why I am getting 12 but why 21? VTEC seems to be working perfect.

Code 21 = VTEC Solenoid Valve defective circuit or unplugged / defective solenoid valve
* invalid code for non-VTEC engine
** invalid for V6 engine

I've have a helms manual for the 92-95 eg but no manual for the h22a at this time. I just wanted to know how to do it and if it is easy. I probably will pick-up a haynes manual sometime soon.

VTEC solenoids and screens are the same. Just remove it from the engine, and clean the screen using carb/brake cleaner then put it back on.
