Default CODE16--and reverse tranny problems

Ok Iwill start by saying the car is a 91 Honda civic hatch,Problems code 16 for fuel injector has crappy idle was told that the pressure is to high for the motor or might have a static injector which maybe stuck open it hoggs gass and only runs goood when hott puffs black smoke at idle...Last thing..Tranny went out 2 day start the carr reverse worked fine then i go down the street try 2 back upp and it wont go in reverse like the gear dissapeared?? so i bring it home go in come out try it again still nothing come back later warm the car get on it down the streett then stop and check and it goes in smooth??..Next time i try it grinds and just keeps grinding the gearr was working perfectt first gear did the same thing a 1 time tranny is a HFcrx tranny Please help thanks Very much......

ECU injector driver might be shorted to ground causing an injector to be stuck open. The first symptom to look for are wet plugs....especially if there's one that's wetter than the rest.

Use a noid light (GM OBD-1 I think works for OBD-0 clips as well) to confirm which one is stuck.

Check tranny fluid level. Otherwise check linkage and tranny internals.

Ok thanks,How much fluid should be in does it matter becasue when i filled it i puttt 10w40 in it regular motor oil does that matter should i change it 2 some syncromesh or something else let me no please????thanks..

Use Honda MTF. Don't ever use motor oil in the transmission. The manual and mechanics might say it's ok, but I've always had problems with grinding gears when using motor oil.
