did a search, couldn't find anyone else that had a code 8 before.. .


anyhow, it's top dead center sensor,

friend's car died while driving in city, car is daily driven, only intake and exaust.

driving it at city limits, and car dies just after shifting into 3rd

motor off, rpms drop.

now gets a code 8, any thoughts?

 

try another distributor

 

is the tdc sensor in the dist. ?

 

yes the tdc sensor is in the dist, along with cyp sensor

you can repalce the sensors, or find a cheap used dist

so in the dist. there is , the tdc, cyp, and cas? , that's 6 out of 7 wires on a obd0 dist. what's the last wire for?
