Code 43 Fuel Supply System HELP
I searched all over the net for information about this problem, and i know the code 43 is associated with O2 sensor, fuel injector, fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter, fuel pump, PGM-FI main relay, contamited fuel...
OK I just took everything off my engine bay put a new head on my H22 turbo, and painted the the engine bay because it wasnt the same color as the car.
After everything was done I started the car and the idle was hight like 2,3k so I adjusted the ignition timing at 16.
After that it was not better the <U>idle was going up and down</U>, <U>if I move the tb too fast the car would die</U>.
I can see on my PLX300 that the <U>car run really rich </U>and <U>smoke and smell a lot in the exhaust</U> even the <U>spark plugs are really black</U>.
My set up:
• H22 turbo
• RC 550 injector
• Hondata Stage 4B
• ECU P72
......
During this little swap I put a lot of NEW parts:
• Spark Plugs PFR7G-11
• Spark plug wire OEM
• Ignition Coil CRANE CAM lx 91
• Alternator
• all belts, gasket... OEM (but hondata intake gasket)
• O2 sensor (for Wide Band PLX M-300)
.......
So because I just put a new O2 sensor I dont think that would be the problem.
Im thinking more it could be because the head I put on it is not the same as the other one but why a code 43???
The new one has been fully ported and polished with bigger valve(Intake flows 318cfm and exhaust flows 260cfm)
So I know I need a new tuning but I need to bring my car over there and its 3 hours of driving.
What do you guys think about that
