Default Code 4 thrown, help

I had a HPDE today at Sebring and my 00 Si decided to throw a code while coming into the pits,, not while on track! I jumped the service connector and found out it was code 4.... crankshaft position sensor,, TDC sensor, or cyl. sensor. My question is: this should be fixed under warrenty regardless of mods (25K miles), correct? I have minimal engine mods: CTR intake cam and Skunk gears with MINOR cam timing adj. (+2 in. -1 ex). The car sounds like either the valve lash is thrown WAY out, or even worse, a bent valve. Does this sound right for having a faulty sensor? Thanks in advance!
