Default code 21

my car is throwing a code 21 but all my vtec wires are all wired right
could it be my vtec solenoid????

I'm pretty sure that the vtec solenoid/valve needs oil pressure (spool) to activate. The valve is bad or you have low oil pressure.

If you're sure the wires are OK, then it CAN be a bad solenoid valve. Remember, it's only got one wire, it's grounded thru the head. If your engine grounds aren't good, that can do it too.
