what the hell is code 20 - my friend says its some kind of eletric problem code...

this may be right cause if my car goes under a certain rpm my raido cuts off and when the car is off I have to push in the cigerette (bad spelling i think) lighter or the radio will keep cutting on a off every 3 seconds. and yes it is HELLA anoying!!!!! the weird thing is that it never did it but then all of a sudden it started after I rebuilt my motor but I didnt mess with the radio at all...

hmm.. your radio may be shutting off because it's detecting that you don't have enough power.. or you have loose connection.
The code is:
Electrical Load Detector
defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor

check all your wiring harness connections

 

if something was messed up on the harness...wouldnt i get a lot more codes than just one or does code 20 cover anything and everything that could be messed up on the harness...thanks

 

not always..
Just check them.. it's a little teadious.. unplug it make sure it's clean and plug back in.
It can't hurt... and doesn't cost you anything.
Also check the fuse box. and you accessory wiring harness..
since your lighter and radio are probably on the same harness/circuit. I would start with that.

 

I'm getting the same code ever since we installed the turbo and relocated the battery. Never had any problems with any systems or running, however...
