Putting a d16a6 in a 89 crx hf and its throwing a code 15 igntion output signal. tryed swapping the hf dist on it and it still threw the code which leads me to beleive its not ignitor or coil. The car didnt throw the code with the hf motor either.

 

The start singal has it's own fuse most likely under the dash fuse panel. I recommend checking that first - it may be named PGM-FI or integrated control unit.
if the fuse is okay check your wiring.
