Default which clutch would work

A friend of mine has a 2nd Gen. integra LS 90 or 91 he swap in a 3rd Gen. GSR motor everything working fine. Except the clutch won't go in gear he has the GSR clutch in right now. What clutch should he use? LS or GSR?

I don't know if the clutches are the same in the 2nd gen as the third, but I believe all 3rd gens use the same disk, just a different pressure plate for each engine. I am not sure of how much each pressure plate differs in strength though. What do you mean by the clutch won't go into gear?

Hello,
What transmission is your friend running? The GSR tranny or the factory LS tranny.
