Default clutch too strong?

ive heard that if your clutch is too strong, that it will put a lot more stress on engine bearings and stuff. is this true? like a stage 1 or 2 clutch, no unsprung 6 pucks or anything.

Only when you pop the clutch. When you do that you put a lot of stress on the thrust bearings. just don't drive like an *******

you heard right.

unprung clutches put LOTS more stress on your thrust bearings and tranny bearings. compared to sprung
drivetrain shock.
with a stronger unprung clutch now your engine and tranny are used as a ''spring'' hehe
