today i test drove a 95 honda civic and the guy told me he had some one install a new clutch which is true cause i wanted to buy it a few weeks ago but the clutch was bad.well anyways the pedel felt really really really soft what could this be?could it be that because its a new clutch it needs to be broken in,slave cylinder is bad,or it needs to be bleeded?idk
also it was going in gear real smooth with no problems

 

could be one of three things, air in the system, leaking master cylinder or a slave on its way out

 

i would try bleeding the slave as first step. bleed it a few times and then pump the hell outta the clutch for a few mins and if that dont seem to fix the problem then check for leaks in master and slave cylinders.
