clutch noise
95GSR.
Got a new ACT clutch installed last fall. Has only about 5000miles on it. Works great still.
Getting that same squeeking noise from the clutch that I had with my stock one.
I believe it is from the fork at the transmission because I hear it best right by the boot near the slave cylinder.
I assume they greased the release bearing well enough. Is this common to happen? Its annoying because the sound transmits right back to the pedal and I hear it in the car. It goes away once the car is well warmed up. I solved the problem in the past by spraying lube inside the rubber boot at the tranny but I hate to do that with a relatively new clutch install.

It could be where the slave-ball-end contacts the pivot arm. That should be greased. You can remove the slave, put grease in the arm socket and on the ball and then put the slave back in. You shouldn't have to open the system but it may rquire some pressure to get the slave back in place.

any tips on getting the slave back in place afterwards? The noise seems to be coming more from inside the tranny case. Thats why I assume its the fork near the release bearing making the noise
