i love my exedy stage 1 clutch with my act prolite flywheel great grabbing clutch with a lil stiffer than stock clutch pressure, the only con to it is the throwout bearing, i reccomend using an oem one. As for the flywheel i couldnt be happier, i noticed a big difference with my rpms picking up and vtec felt like it pulled way harder, maybe it was just cuz the rpms started climbing faster.

There's nothing wrong with it. You asked if you can use an OEM bearing, and the answer is yes. No one said that the bearing that comes with the Exedy clutch is inferior. Since Exedy makes the OEM clutch components, it's likely the new clutch will have the exact same throwout bearing as stock anyway.

I would go with Exedy over ACT. Exedy is better quality from my experience. And Stage 1 is plenty for the mods you have, it'll be a good setup.
