Default clutch instalation

when installing a clutch is spraying everything down with brake cleaner a known thing to do/ something that should def. be done? cause we put a new exedy stage one clutch in my ls and didnt spray it down, and i heard from someone that touching everything takes this thin layer of oil off it and the clutch than burns up starting there, and once it starts slipping there is no going back. so whats your feedback H T comun?

Spray it down... it won't hurt anything.
