Default Clutch Bleeding

Been driving around with the ACT extreme pressure plate and street disc now for two years. I was wondering if any of you other guys with heavy aftermarket clutchs which have been installed for long periods of time, have bled the clutch in any type of interval? Or does the clutch only have to be bled whenever the system is exposed? Not sure, clutch is feeling a little mushy these days.
