Default Clutch alignment

this is probably gonna sound like a dumb question but....
how can i be sure that i aligned my clutch properly? i did use an alignment tool, but when i tried to put my transmission on, it felt like i wouldn't go on rigth. do i have to force it on a little or should it just slide rigth on?

Default Re: Clutch alignment (quis23)

It takes a little effort to get it all to line up correctly. DON'T FORCE IT. When it's lined up, it will slide in. Get a bolt in on each side, and tighten them down to mate the tranny and the block all the way together. If you used the alignment tool, the clutch is most likely on correctly. Just give it a few tries, and you'll get it eventually.
