Default Clunk when backing up

My car just started making osme weird clunking sound. When I'm backing up everytime I hit the brakes I hear a loud clunk from the front end. When I'm turning the wheel and hit the brakes it makes a few clunking sounds. What could cause this? a ball joint or tie rid end maybe? I need help quick.

I'm getting the same clunk. I've got new lower ball joints and tie rod ends sitting on my work bench at home, but still haven't replaced them. I'll let you know how it works out.
