One of my friends missed shift while racing another friend and bent all the exhaust valves on his stock B18c1 (Gs-R). So after changing all the exhaust valves the head was put back and compression test was done with good numbers, it was showing 175. Then we turn the motor over to get the oil pressure and then started the car. Everything was fine at first but then when the car got warmed up it started to make this clicking noise. It would come and go but it's not a consistant click. Check the Valve clearance with filler guage and it was fine, rockers are fine, cams are fine. Just can't figure it out.
So out goes the head, in exchange we got a B16a head from a 2000 si. After everything was done, we prime the motor for oil and crank the bitch. Started right up with no problem. Got warm and everything was good, my fingers were crossed just in case. Then I give it a little rev and as soon as the thottle plate closes the noise came about. It's not the throttle body for it is a different one. The noise does not sound like a spun bearing for I had prior experiance with my last LS. What could it be??? Noise seam to be coming more from the frst two cylinders. Oh yeah the pistons are in good condition also.

What could it be?????
