Default Cleaning STD Exhaust Manifold

I got an STD manifold for a future turbo'd D project, and the thing is dirty as hell. The outside shouldn't be a problem to clean, but the inside is a pain. Got some orange cleaner stuff, a tooth brush, and rubbed away. There's still a ton of gunk inside (big surprise). I realize I'm not going to get most of it out in the #1 and #4 runners, but I'd like to try something. Anyone have any tips on cleaning this? Maybe some brake cleaner and a wire brush?

Guess I should just get a wire brush and some brake cleaner, and figure it out for my damn self then.
