Default cleaning the head!

i just got my b16 head... and it has some dirt in it from sitting and all...

is it ok to use brake cleaner to wash out the dirt... it only has the rocker arms and lost motion assembly on it...

PM me if possible with an answer

I think brake cleaner would work fine, make sure you dont get the grit further into the cyl head and block. Before you run it again I would put some oil on your valve train thou.

well the head is off the block....i was just thinking of tilting it on its side and spray it down to get the small dirt out of it...
