Default civic wagon code 8

I have a D15b2 in my 90 civic wagon. Is throwing code 8. TDC- top dead center.it seemed to be hitting rev limiter at 3000 rpm. Got a refurbished dizzy and it fixed the issue for a while. Now its doing it again. Any suggestion on what it could be?

First unplug the dizzy and check resistance across the tdc sensor. Then check continuity from the 2 wires on the car harness side to the ecu. Check for loose pins. If all good then replace the dizzy
