Civic door mirror & electric windows
Hi,
I have a 2016 Mk9 Civic SR 1.8. This week the passenger door mirror stopped retracting. Oddly, 3 of the electric windows stopped functioning as well (the drivers window is OK). Everything else works OK and no errors. The door mirror can be moved by hand so still OK to drive, but does move without resistance which suggests the nylon gears have stripped on the mech.
Could the faulty mirror also cause the problem with the windows? Perhaps the drivers door switch assembly is at fault? I can't hear the motor turning on the faulty mirror, I also cannot electrically adjust the angle of the mirror. The fuses I have checked are OK.
Any thoughts on this?
