I have a fresh built d16z6. It drives like it doesnt have the right power. 47 miles on it as we speak. I drive lets say 55 at 2500rpm when i come to a hill i leave my foot the same pressure but it starts to slow down to 50mph. Now i know if i apply more pedal it will bogg or give that empty sound i dont get that strong engine rev like i should. Iac is clean, coolant has been bleed. Idles at 1000 to 750 then sometimes will go back to 1000 over a period of time. No CEL light, valves are adjusted and reseated.

 

A fresh built D16Z6 in what car?
Timing. Check it.

 

95 civic ex. Ok will do. No bent valves, new valve seals, d15 intake manifold, auto iacv
Stock ecu, y7 oil pump but changing that out when the weather gets better.
