Civic 96-98 diagnostics socket

Hi, the yellow engine problem light is showing on the dash, and wen i tried to connect the diagnostic equipment up i was unable to find the 16pin socket, does anyone no were a mite find this socket. tanx

its on the driver side to the left of the steering column
