Default CHROMING A VALVE COVER....

not sure if this is TECH or not?


but usually how much does it cost to chrome plate a B series valve cover?

(I know its RICE... but its for my track toy)

the polished dont have the shiny look.


and im not going on EBAY... cuz i have a fucked paint valve cover that i want to put on the motor.

one is nice and black.... the other is black/grey/flaked up paint

go to walmart and buy some aircraft remover in the automotive paint section. strip the paint. youll probably like the finish. If not, them go back and by some high temp paint, pick a color, and paint that bitch. Dont chrome it though, that would be whack.

i polished mine and it looks pretty damn shiny... as in u can see urself in it... i wouldnt chrome it as chrome is just a coating that can chip off

depends on how good the chromer is. and If you polish it and you are running high boost It dosent look pretty. TRUST ME

ever seen a harley with aftermarket (cheap) pipes? IT blues. I know because my boy just sold a low 11 sec street car with a polished vc and It was blueing

i have seen EXHAUST pipes blue... ur comparing apples to oranges... and no i wont trust u... trust me... iv used multiple polished vc's on high boost appllications

im just gonna cut this extra valve cover for tuning.

maybe polish it so it looks decent.
