Any recomendations on what chip to use on 98 civ hx w p28 ecu?

I have heard about spoon and mugen type chips are they any good or do that have to be programed for each application?

the are a generic program, you can't adjust them to fit your set up, you cant tune it on the dyno.. in short they are all but worthless.

Infinatenexus, you are totally correct. these programs from mugen and spoon are generic and can't be tuned to you application.

I also highly recommend a Hondata S100 for you application. Very inexpensive, and totally tuneable to your specific application.

Let me know if you want pricing as we are a Hondata dealer also.

I have a 96 HX with a P2P ECU and I was wondering can I get one of these chips for my ecu and if so how hard is it to install and if you can please give me an overview of what it takes to do this. Thanks Alot

I am on here trying to figure out how to get mine to work. DO you have a header on it if so you need to get a new ecu to run obd1 and convert your o2 to a four wire. I cant chip the p2n it is not socketable. as for the p2p i don't know
