i spent about 175 on mine (on sale baby!)
it saved my friends life he was under the car and the mount shifted through the chassi and the chain caught the engine about 1/5 of an inch above his nose

 

bought mine new for $160, its a 2500 lb unit which is enough to lift my whole car

i got it from agri-supply which is a tractor supply down here in the south

 

DO I need one to pull a b18b1 engine? Or can I drop the engine on something then lift the chassis over it, the car is stripped, no doors, no interior. Just bought it for $800. What do you think? should I invest in it?

 

its a worthy investment if youever plan on doing other swaps and such
