yes it is an auto. Just throw a flywheel on there and you're set. The thing by the oil pan is a bracket to help hold the exhaust system up.

well make sure to get the correct bolts for the flywheel... the automatic ones are too short

no no, if you look at the bottom, right above the oil pan, there are two tiny cracks, you see them?

HTH,

Wrong, that is the mount for the intermediate shaft.

Thos dont look like cracks, they look like casting irregularities.

this possibly a stupid question, but what the hell is that at the rear where the inlet manifold/throttle body usually is? Is it the air box? I've never seen one like it before!

not a stupid question, its a resonator that is supposed to increase midrange torque,
but im not using the b20 IM, so that thing is gonna go too....

if its going in a civic you cant use the b20 manifold anyway
it will hit the hood.

all b20's are automatics

and the crack is nothing.

i feel much better knowing the cracky thing is noting, thanks for the help

how come everyone thinks all crvs are automatic? my cousin has a 5 speed, im sure of it...

i could be wrong im pretty sure the b20 manifold WILL actaully fit in a civic, ive seen pics... and the silver airbox thing is no higher than the valve cover..... its definetly restrictive though
