After about 10-20 minutes of driving my check engine light seems to always come up. I tripped the wires to see what code i was throwing and it doesnt throw any codes. I tried restarting my ecu a few times but the check engine always comes back, but everytime i turn off the car and restart it, the check engine goes away then comes back in 10-20 minutes later. The car runs perfect, even when vtec engages. I was hoping somebody could help me get rid of this annoying check engine light.. any inputs are appreciated.

possible ecu failure, does the light stay on or go out when you short it

 

it goes out, usually when i short it it goes out then starts giving me codes, but this time nothing pops up
