Default Check Engine Light Help Please

I just finished having my alarm installed w/ remote start...(manual 98 preludeSH) and as soon as everything was done the check engine light and atts light came on... Now i've read that the atts light automatically comes on when the check engine light comes on but can someone help figure out why check engine light came on? Im thinking its because the viper 550 remote start has to be tapped into your rpm sensor for the over and under rev protection safety feature. What should i do? Has anyone else had this problem after installing a remote start?

Is it possible that i just need to reset the ecu? and to do this i just have to pull out the clock fuse from under the hood for a couple minutes right?

try disconnecting the negative battery cable for 5 minutes to reset the ecu.. otherwise you need to get the code from it.. check out http://www.hondata.com/techecucodes.html for help on how to get the code from it, and what the codes mean.. theres a wire for crank position sensor, its possible they poorly tapped it, or the alarm is producing a signal on that wire (i dunno how remote starts actully work)

honestly if a shop did your remote start install, its kinda their problem that your car now has a CEL on..
