Hey guys,
I found out that the code I was getting was code 12 as stated from my local performance shop. He stated that it was due to the fact that my stock JDM P13 ECU is extremely sensitive. When I upgraded the fuel pressure triggered a reaction in the O'2 sensor which caused the check engine light to come on.
He proceeded to lend me a P72 GSR ECU to run with while I have my P13 chipped out to a mugen spec map. The car feels a lot more aggressive and the check engine light is not on which is a plus.
I was told that I was better off chipping a P28 or a P72 as opposed to my P13 however I'm not sure the plus or minuses between chipping the three. I just didn't have the time to look for a P28 to chip...I hope I don't end up hindering my performance.
I appreciate the feedback...I hope if anyone else has experienced this problem now you have something to go on.

If they say your fuel presure is the problem why don't they turn it down.
There blowing smoke up your *** they probably didn't wire up you EGR stuff, thats what code 12 is and that why they want you to get a p28 or p72 because those ecu's don't look A egr.

Hey Dragline,
I was just thinking why didn't they just turn down the fuel pressure. They Stated that due to the fact that I'm running an MSD Digital 6 System...it would cause the car to run hotter in turn would cause it to run a little lean, that is the reason why they turned up the fuel pressure at idle to 42 and ful throttle to 50psi.
I'm not sure about the fuel pressure...I spoke with a rep over at MSD he stated that the car would have this reaction. What's your input? What is the stock idle fuel pressure...38psi? How about full throttle...?
What is the EGR's responsibility? Do you suspect a wire might have been disconnected in the install of the MSD?
I do appreciate your feedback...thank you for the heads up.
