what happens to the car when the check engine light coms on, on a gs-r. Does it run rich, does vtec engage? also is it bad drive the car when the C.E.L is on?

It's really fine to drive your car it just runs the ECU in safe mode. Short the jumper above the ECU to find the code you are throwing. When you figure that out you'll know what needs to be fixed hopefully. Hope this helps

 

when you run boost with out a check valve on the map sensor i wil run like ****. i could get out of my car and almost push it faster. i dont know for sure but i think it all depends on what the problem will depend if it goes into safe mode or not.
