Why would you want to remove it? Is it not functioning properly?

your charcoal-evap canister is something that isnt hurting anything. i have a hondata and that eliminates the evap sylnoid that is on your fuel rail, which is hooked up to the evap canister, so i'm not using it either, but i figure its hooked up to the tank, so i should just leave it, plus i don't think it weighs anything. if you figure out a safe way to take it out, let me know. i think all my friends with track only drag cars, stripped to the bone, still have them in, i'll call around tomorrow to see,

Why would you want to remove the EVAP canister?.. Isn't it illegal? And I'm pretty sure you'll just end up with a CEL..

Re: (2.0 boostified)
you can physically do it...

it will be illegal if you drive it on the street...

you will throw a code... or very likely. i don't know how often the evap monitors run on hondas

u will get fuel vapors coming out of the breather... might burn if the vapors gets concentrated towards the exh manifold... especially on a hot day...

u might get fuel puddles out of the breather if u overfill the tank

your car will smell like fuel on a hot day...

if u can live with those, u can do anything u really want. if you're just looking to save some space... figure out how to relocate the evap canister rather than remove it.

rip it out if you want, i dont have mine hooked up but its still there. you wont get a cel for it. it has only to do with emmisions. i have a diffrent IM so i dont have the purge valve.
