Default changing sub frame, how do I remove this?

I trying to swap out my sub frame but the "steering thing"(circled in white) is in the way..
I took off all the bolts that hold it up but the steering shaft or whatever is still connected... How do I free it? do I have to take off the thing I circled in yellow or what?? thanks...

that steering thing is a rack n pinon. if you un bolt it from the sub frame you can pull it down enough to see the steering colomn. there is a streering knuckle that has a 10 mm bolt. that will disconnect the rack.

so, I don't need to mess with the thing circled in yellow? I just have to tug it down a little and disconnect it with a wrench..
thanks
