Not starting as in not running?

Make sure your firing order is correct

Does the engine crank with the same speed every time? Check your grounds, including thermostat and starter.

Did the old engine crank?

He said it almost starts so im wondering if he accidentally wired the plug wires backwards. I did that once and it actualky fired up and ran for a very short time back firing like a gun.

Its easy to assume that its 1 2 3 4 when looking at the bay when its actually 4 3 2 1
